Hi, I'm Robert!


Robert D. Pittman is the broker/owner of Fine Home Gallery Real Estate® and holds a Post-Master's Certificate in Advanced Accounting, a Master of Science in Accounting, a Bachelor of Science in Accounting, and an Associate of Arts in Mortuary Science. 


Licensed to practice real estate since 2004, Robert also has the following real estate-related certificates:

With over twenty years of experience, Robert's unique background is on display with every single transaction.


The extremely calm, yet assertive, demeanor comes from Robert's education and experience in the funeral service industry, this experience assists him as a certified probate property specialist by making him more emotionally in tune with the needs of his clients. 


Robert is a Certified Home Finance Resource®; however, passion for numbers is based on his experience and education in accounting. Robert has many years of experience as a senior tax auditor, tax audit team leader, and tax audit trainer which makes him amazingly comfortable crunching numbers on investment properties or presenting offers for listings. 


Utilizing spreadsheets with a variety of mathematical formulas allows Robert to create a very insightful and unique approach to investment property analysis, home buying, and home selling. He prefers to do real estate by the numbers to prevent his clients from last-minute financial surprises.


Currently, Robert is studying for a Ph.D. in Advanced Accounting to better serve his real estate clients.

 

Robert's real estate career started in 2004 listing probate properties at Prudential California Realty while simultaneously attending San Francisco State University. However, in late 2006 early signs of a real estate market crash started to become present, but Robert was ready. He aligned himself with likeminded real estate professionals, and together they survived the market crash by developing strategic partnerships with the nation’s largest banks and asset managers to list properties giving him an extensive amount of knowledge and experience in REO/Bank Owned properties, mortgage defaults, and the foreclosure process from start to finish.


Robert shines the most when it comes to listings. As a consummate strategist, out-of-the-box thinker, and Certified Broker Pricing Specialist since 2008 (necessary training he obtained while pricing real estate owned by large banks), his experience is used to generate maximum exposure to listings. 


He has a gift for generating multiple offers by using a variety of tools at his disposal. Robert uses professional photography, aerial drone photos, virtual tours, 3D tours, decluttering, staging, listing side generated home & termite inspections to get ahead of potential problems, and Mega Open Houses from 10:00 am to 6:00 pm on both Saturday and Sunday to create buzz around the listing. Robert also uses closing deadline incentives, per diems to minimize closing delays, and numerous strategies to handle those pesky contingency removals to reduce haggling over minor issues.


In his spare time, Robert enjoys wine tasting in the Napa Valley and spending time at home in the backyard gardening, and barbequing. Robert is quite the pit-master by making his own dry rubs, and homemade BBQ sauce for his friends and family to enjoy.
